|Cory Reddick (5-9, 165)
Garden City CC
Boyton Beach, FL
One of the top corners in the Jayhawk Conference next year will be Cory Reddick.
Although he is on the smaller side, don't let it fool you because he's more physical than he looks. He is a great one-on-one cover guy, who possesses above average speed, explosive burst, and catch-up speed. Excellent leaping ability lets him match up decently with many of today's taller receivers. Coaches say that he doesn't shy away from contact in run-support situations. Plus, he has the hips and feet that four-year schools are looking for.
Last year, as a freshman, he led the team in pass break ups.
"Cory is a tremendous young man, who is extremely coachable. He understands how much better he can really get. Cory is getting early interest from Big 12, Big 10, ACC, and SEC schools. He would love to return home to Florida State, Florida, or Miami, but is open to any and all interested schools," said his coach.
Reddick will graduate in December 2002.
