NOTES: Chuck Lawrence, the dean of SWJCFC head coaches, is the NJCAA Football Coaches Association President for 2005-2007…Joining Lawrence's staff in June were former Snow College head coach Jeff Kilts and former NFL Europe defensive coordinator Ray Woodard, a former University of Texas and NFL star who played and coached at Kilgore College…Navarro will play its games next year at the new 10,000-seat Corsicana ISD Sports Complex…The defensive front six returns intact, with depth….Three members of the defense were placements: DT Claypool, by Colorado State, LB Mark Young, by Texas A&M, and DE James Fantroy, by Baylor…LaMarque DE Darrin Williams returns from a foot injury that had to be surgically repaired before last season…Look for Abilene Cooper freshman Antoine Livingston (5-9, 175) to make major contributions at WR with speed and game-breaking ability. He had an outstanding spring game…Two Corsicana football players perhaps overlooked in the recruiting process surfaced at Navarro. All-purpose WR Jon Bauer accounted for 4283 total yards in his high school career, including 2498 receiving and 1200 in returns. DB Ray Sims, Corsicana's fourth-leading career tackler (338 stops), figures prominently in an unsettled secondary where all jobs are up for grabs…Freshman RB Ross, with 4.38 speed in the 40, was Tyler Lee's all-time career rushing (4748 yards with 55 rushing TD) and scoring (332 points) leader…RB Edwards rushed for Cedar Park record 2800 yards in two seasons, including 1785 with a school-record 31 TD in a 13-game 2004.Freshmen DT Sosia Uhila (Arlington Bowie) and John Olie (Hurst Bell) are cousins…San Antonio Roosevelt LB Marcus Still, a state wrestling finalist in his class, had a 22-2 record and was unbeaten against regional finalists in his weight group…South Garland DB transfer James Bradley recorded 58 tackles, intercepted five passes and broke up eight others, recovered two fumbles, and blocked seven field goals and extra-point attempts...
