As a senior, at Agoura High School in Agoura Hills, California, he was named first team all-league, area and CIF. He was a partial qualifier out of high school due to missing one core class.

LaRocque will graduate in December of '05 and will show up at his college of choice in the spring of '06 with three years to play two.

He has written offers from Missouri and Utah State. "I like those schools," LaRocque says. "I also like Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington.

"I have family in Phoenix so it would be real nice to go to either of those schools. I would also like to play in the Pac Ten. That would be nice."

The linebacker has not scheduled any visits yet, but will do so soon. "I will definitely visit Missouri. They are in the Big 12 and I like the coaches. I will probably make my trips in December."

LaRocque is a defender that likes to be in the thick of things. "I am a sideline-to-sideline player. I get to the ball very fast."

College of the Canyons takes on Allan Hancock this weekend.
