JC Transfer All-American Team

The 2005 JCFootball.com JC Transfer All-American Team honors community and junior college student athletes for their achievements at division one programs. To be eligible for this annual All-American team an athlete must be in his first season with a four-year school. The following student athletes cut their teeth in the junior and community college ranks. Most of them have just completed their second and final year at a four-year college. A handful graduated high school, played one season at the JC level, and moved on to a four-year school with more than two seasons of playing eligibility.

This is not an exhaustive list of every JC alum who played a down for their four-year school. To be included on our list the athlete must have made an All-Conference list or been a significant contributor on offense, defense, or special teams. A somewhat arbitrary statistical bar was set by JCFootball.com  for each position category. For instance, secondary players with fewer than 20 tackles were not included...receivers with less than 200 yards receiving were not included. We tried to find and list every player who met our criteria. Some statistics are astounding when you consider that, unlike a senior with four or five years experience in a program, most of the players below are completing their second and final collegiate season. Redshirted guys and those who entered with more than 2 years of playing eligibility are exceptions.
