Resby graduated from Forest Grove in Houston in 2004 and redshirted the 2004 season. He played the 2005 year and recorded 73 tackles, an interception and a sack from his strong safety spot.
With a productive freshman campaign under his belt, Resby said the interest in him is picking up.
"I'm hearing from Louisville, Kansas, Iowa State, TCU and Utah," said Resby. "I don't have any offers yet."
Resby said he will hopefully have his A.A. in December, but may have to wait until the fall to transfer to a Division I school.
"I have two years to play two, I'm a redshirt sophomore. I hope to finish my A.A., but I might not go until fall."
Resby said he wants to set up official trips, but that he didn't have any finalized yet.
"I plan to take all five official visits," said Resby. "Then I'll decide."
Resby has ideal size for a defensive back, whether it be at cornerback or safety, but that there is only one position he prefers to play.
"I want to be a safety," said Resby.
