QUARTERBACKS

SANTA ROSA - Mark Gray, 5-10, 185, threw for 365 yards and 5 TDs on 29 of 41 passing in 41-27 win over Delta.

PALOMAR - Tyler Lorenzen, 6-5, 225, went 28 of 36 for 353 and 3 scores in 41-35 loss to Santa Ana.

SANTA ANA - Kasey Peters, 6-3, 220 countered with 4 TDs on 18 of 29 passing for 252.

FOOTHILL - Josh Riddell, 6-1, 200, went 17 of 33 for 342 yards and 4 scores with 1 INT and carried the ball 10 times for 41.

NAVARRO - Jeremy Sanders, 6-2, 190, rushed for 172 yards on 19 carries and 3 TDs and added 91 passing for another score in 34-28 thriller over Tyler.

TYLER - John David Weed, 6-4, 195, countered with 19 of 35 for 333 yards and 3 tallies vs. Navarro.

MODESTO – Freshman Chad Draper, 6-4, 204, went 23 of 35 for 252 and ran 9 times for 25 and a score in 28-14 loss to Reedley.

NASSAU - Cory Christopher, 6-3, 220, 14 of 19 for 227, 2 TDs and rushed for 73 yards on 6 carries in 31-17 win over Army Prep.

EAST L.A. - Aaron Garcia completed 22 of 38 for 222 and TDs of 25 and 32 yards in 50-18 shelling from Citrus.

SADDLEBACK - Nick Nelson, 6-2, 230, completed 12 of 18 for 222 and 2 TDs.  Also, 4 carries for 21 yards.

MOORPARK – Cam Merrill completed 18-36 for 361 and 4 TDs in win over Canyons.

SEQUOIAS - Andre Sloan-El completed 16 of 26 for 236 with 3 TDs in win over Los Medanos.

RUNNING BACKS

BLINN - Bernard Scott, 5-10, 187, carried 39 times for 239 yards and a TD in 20-9 win over Kilgore.

SANTA ANA - Brian Allen had his best game going 196 yards on 38 carries and a tally vs. Palomar.

COPIAH-LINCOLN - Aaron Johns, 5-10, 190, cruised for 188 yards on 20 trips and 3 scores in downing Pearl River 31-21.

CISCO - Jacques Crawford rushed for 156 yards and a score on 26 carries in 31-12 win over Trinity Valley.

N.E. OKLAHOMA A&M - Deji Karim, 5-11, 205, gained 175 yards and scored twice in 35-14 win over Ranger.

SAN MATEO - Ryan Faumuina, 5-11, 210, carried 33 times for 170 yards and a TD in 34-21 win over West Valley.

GRAND RAPIDS - Samir Ghriri, 6-0, 200, rambled 142 yards on 14 carries in win over North Dakota St. to outshine Jerome Messam, who was held to 68 yards on 18 carries.

NEW MEXICO MILITARY - Tim Hamett, 5-6, 165, 13 carries for 141 and 3 catches for 83 in loss to Snow.

FORT SCOTT - Jovani Franklin, perhaps the shortest player in the JC ranks at 5-4, 165, gained 123 on 31 trips vs. Dodge City.

RECEIVERS

WEST L.A. – Freshman Ryan Henry, 5-10, 165, pulled in 14 passes for 228 yards and a 77-yard TD in 24-7 loss to Santa Monica.

MOORPARK – Frosh Conrad Meadows, 5-9, 175, caught 7 balls for 167 yards and 2 TDs. His 87-yarder broke a school record.

MOORPARK – Tony Washington caught 7 balls for 152 yards including an 80-yard TD.

PASADENA – Freshman Trent Yancy, 5-8, 181, had 7 catches for 144 yards, 2 TDs, one for 86 yards, 3rd longest in school history. Also, give him 2 KORs for 42.

FULLERTON - Marquis Avery, 6-4, 190, 4 catches for 140 yards including a 46-yard TD.

TYLER - Johnny Knox, 6-1, 163, caught 7 passes for 134 and a score and had a 98-yard KOR for a TD.

SANTA ROSA - D.J. Sexton, 6-0, 185, caught 11 passes for 129 yards and a TD.

MODESTO - Jamie January, 6-3, 180, caught 10 passes for 135 yards in loss to Reedley.

LOS MEDANOS - Kenny Jackson caught 8 passes for 115 yards and a score vs. Sequoias.

BAKERSFIELD - T.J. Lee, 6-0, 198, caught 4 passes for 115 yards in 37-10 win over L.A. Valley.

EAST L.A. - Steve Hernandez caught 8 passes for 113 yards and 2 TDs.
