"Oregon State and Akron have both told my coach that they want me," said Leatigaga. "I would say those are my two leaders right now."
Arizona State and Oregon have also been showing interest in the Juco star and the Ducks have also been mentioned by Leatigaga as one of his top schools.
"Oregon and Oregon State are both closer to home," said Leatigaga. "I want to stay close to home because I'm a big family person. I don't know if I can handle it away from my family."
Leatigaga prepped at Independence High in San Jose, Calif., but didn't have any offers come out of high school, so he enrolled at Foothill.
A third-year sophomore, Leatigaga played defensive tackle for Foothill last fall, but this year he's moved back outside to end.
"It depends on the college, but I prefer to play outside at defensive end," said Leatigaga.
Before the most recent game, Leatigaga had 29 tackles and three sacks. On Saturday he added 3 more sacks and two tackles for loss...plus several other tackles. He said that when the season concludes, he plans to take some visits but also thinks more offers will come once his sophomore film gets out.
"As soon as I get this season done, I'm starting to get my film out and get them to some colleges," said Leatigaga. "I want to take a lot of trips so I can see how I fit into that program and see where they want me to play."
