"I can't wait to play in that game, it's going to be fun," Asiata told JCFootball.com. "I had a good year this year, but I want to cap it off with a win in the bowl game. 10-1 is great but we all want to finish 11-1."
Asiata finished the regular season with over 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns this season and he said he likes to hit the hole hard, but also can finesse you if he needs to.
"I'm good between the tackles, but I can bust it outside if you're stupid enough to give that to me," Asiata, who claims a 4.5 40-time, said with a laugh. "I worked on my strength this past summer and it really paid off for me this year."
Asiata is hearing from BYU and Utah State and has offers from UNLV and Utah. He'll be visiting both Utes and Rebels very soon.
"I'll be at Utah on December 8th and UNLV on December 15th," Asiata said. "For Utah, the coach recruiting me is coach (Gary) Anderson. He said they want a big physical back that knows how to carry the ball and get them more than three yards a carry.
"Coach (Kris) Cinkovich is the one recruiting me at UNLV and he said basically the same thing that Utah did and that they want a bigger back because most of their backs are pretty small."
Asiata will graduate in December and he will have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
