J.C. GRID-WIRE PRE-SEASON TOP THIRTY

SANTA ANA, Calif. – No junior college football team has won four straight national titles in the history of the game. Don't tell Head Coach George Rush, or his raucous CC San Francisco Rams, who will be attempting the feat while stretching their winning streak, now at 36 games. The all-time record is held by Boise JC at 38, which was set in 1947-50.

On the theory that sticking with a winner until they lose is wise,  we go with CCSF to pull off the unprecedented four-peat.  If all goes according to our crystal ball Pasadena will meet CCSF in Bakersfield for the California title on December 14.

Jones and Tyler will meet for the NJCAA crown, unless someone comes up with the bucks to get Snow and Georgia Military together.  Then JC football fans will sit and lament the lack of a true championship with East playing West.
