Frandsen has one visit set

One of the top targets on the NJCAA's number one team is Snow WR Adam Frandsen (6-1, 190). He hasn't had the breakout season he'd hoped for, but that's because his team has pulled the starters at halftime, allowing younger players to get more reps. While he said he's frustrated with not having a big year he's very happy his team has had the season they are having.

"It's never about individual stats or things like that so it's great that we've been winning," Frandsen said. "But when you want to have a big year and it doesn't happen it can get you down a bit, but that's the mental side of things. I need to really just focus on doing the best I can when I get the chances to make plays and I think I've done that for the most part."

For the season, Frandsen leads the Badgers with 24 receptions for 377 yards and six touchdowns.

"It was tough at times because our starter (John Eastman) went down with an injury," Frandsen said. "So we all had to kind of get used to the backup which wasn't his fault, but it took a little bit to get in sync with him and by that time John had come back so now we're starting to get back to where we need to be."

As far as recruiting is concerned, Frandsen has been getting some attention from several schools and has one offer and a visit set up with one school.

"Troy offered me and I'm going out there on a visit on December 7th," Frandsen said. "Kansas State, BYU and Washington State have all been talking to me a lot about things and they may be close to offering, but I'm not really sure right now."

Frandsen has 4.55 speed to go with his excellent height and athleticism. He'll finish up in December with three years to play two wherever he ends up.

We'll have more from Frandsen in the near future as recruiting really begins to heat up.
