Sanders enjoys visit to Missouri

Navarro QB Jeremy Sanders (6-2, 215) is one of the most athletic JC signal-callers in the country. He's got a handful of offers to his name and this weekend he took a trip to visit one of the schools who was on his list of finalists in high school. JCFootball.com caught up with Sanders as he was getting ready to depart on a flight from Missouri and he talked about his visit and his trips to come.

"I had a great visit," Sanders told JCFootball.com as he sat waiting to load onto the plane. "I had come up here two years ago to visit so it wasn't like I hadn't checked them out before.

"They had really upgraded some of their facilities and stuff like that so it was cool getting to see that," Sanders noted. "I had fun meeting with coach (Gary) Pinkel and we just kinda got re-acquainted with each other.

"They've had a lot of success this year and their offense fits me perfectly so that will be big in the decision-making process for me."

Sanders said he isn't close to making a decision yet and noted that he has several other schools in mind for a couple more visit next month.

"I am planning to take at least two more visits in January," Sanders said. "I want to take one on January 11th and January 18th and I'm still trying to figure out which schools I'm going to check out on those dates."

And what schools are those?

"Baylor, Utah State, Tulsa, New Mexico and Miami are the ones that have offered so those are the ones I'm looking at," Sanders said. "Miami just started coming on lately and they offered me a couple weeks ago.

"I'll sign in February with whoever I decide to go with so I still have a little bit of time to check things out and make a decision."

We'll continue to keep up with Sanders over the next six weeks and update things as they change.
