Offers pour in for Bellamy

One of the elite wideouts in the California JUCO ranks is Butte's Josh Bellamy (6-2, 197). He's already on pace to surpass his outstanding freshman season and he's helped lead the Roadrunners to a perfect 8-0 record and schools from across the country have taken notice.

When we last spoke to Bellamy he hadn't received any offers, but things have changed.

"South Florida, Nevada, Idaho and Marshall have all offered me," Bellamy told JCFootball.com recently. "Other schools who might be close to offering are Oregon, California, Boise State, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas State, TCU, Middle Tennessee and New Mexico, but they haven't officially offered me yet."

Bellamy, who hails from Florida, doesn't have any official visits set up yet, but he could be ready to do that soon.

"Everyone is talking about visits and stuff," Bellamy said. "I will probably set up a visit soon with South Florida, but I'm not sure when that will be because of our schedule.

"If we go deep in the playoffs, I won't be able to visit anyone until after that which will be in December, but I know I need to get on that soon."

So far this season the speedy and strong Bellamy has hauled in 36 receptions for 630 yards and eight touchdowns.

Bellamy is on pace to graduate this May and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
