One official set for Pace

A defensive back that is having a solid season for one of the top JUCO programs in the state of California is Butte CB Preston Pace (6-1, 195). With his prototypical size and speed, he's garnered interest from across the country and he's officially set up one visit and another could be scheduled very soon.

"I'm having fun and our season is going really good," Pace told JCFootball.com recently. "I'm playing mostly corner, but it some of our schemes and stuff I'm playing safety. It just depends on how we match up with teams."

Pace has posted 20 tackles and several pass breakups so far this season in the Roadrunners' DB rotation and schools have taken notice.

"I have offers from Hofstra, Ole Miss, Minnesota and Hawaii right now," Pace said. "I'm getting looks from a lot of other schools too, but none of them have offered so we don't need to talk about them right now."

Pace has set an official visit with Ole Miss for November 28th when the Rebels take on rival Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.

"I'm working on a couple of other visits and I will probably visit Hawaii on December 6th, but I haven't officially set that up yet," Pace said. "I'm open to everyone though, so I just want to make sure I pick the right situation for me."

Pace is set to sign with a school in December and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
