Two more officials on tap for Harrison

A player emerging as one of the hottest commodities in the JC ranks ranks right now is City College of San Francisco S Jarrell Harrison (6-2, 210). He recently took a visit to Missouri and now he's set to take trips to an up-and-coming Pac 10 squad as well as a school in the ACC. JCFootball.com caught up with the hard-hitting defender and he updated us on his season as well as recruiting...

Harrison leads CCSF in both tackles (66) and interceptions (4) and schools across the country have taken notice.

"I have offers from UNLV, Arizona State, Missouri and North Carolina State right now and I've scheduled two more visits," Harrison said. "I visited Missouri last month and I really liked it a lot. Now I'm going to Arizona on November 22nd and North Carolina State on November 29th.

"I haven't set anything up with ASU yet, but I'm probably going to do that pretty soon. I like them a lot, but right now I just haven't set anything up with them."

As for the Wildcat and Wolfpack trips, Harrison said both schools have situations he likes.

"When you're a JC player, you want to have a chance to come in and play right away," Harrison said. "I don't expect things to be handed to me, but I want an opportunity to get in there and show what I can do and 'may the best man win'.

"Arizona has a need at safety and N.C. State told me they like my range and size and hitting abilities, so that definitely is something I'm considering."

Besides the schools he's been offered by, Harrison said he's also hearing from schools like Kansas State, Houston and Hawaii among others.

Harrison is on pace to graduate in December and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
