Crim sets visit to Pac 10 school

Butler will be on its way to their second-straight national championship game in 11 days, but that doesn't mean CB Rudell Crim (6-0, 190) isn't focused on his future as well. The gifted cover-corner has set up his first official visit, to a Pac 10 school, for the week after Butler faces Snow and he's close to setting up another visit to an SEC program after the holidays...

Crim has managed to lock down one side of the Butler secondary this fall, nothing 36 tackles, three interceptions including one he took back for a 46-yard touchdown and 10 passes defensed.

"We're focused and we're ready for Snow," Crim told JCFootball.com shortly after a film session. "They have a great team, but so do we so it should be a great game."

On the recruiting front, Crim recently set up his first official visit and another one could be confirmed shortly.

"I'll be visiting Oregon on December 12th for sure," Crim noted. "I don't know if I will set another one up before Christmas, but I know I'm going to set one up with Arkansas for the first or second week of January, but I have to talk to the coaches there about the exact date.

"I really like Oregon. They are a great program and they have good skill players up there. Arkansas is right up there too and I have a couple of other schools who I'm looking at taking visits to, but I've only got five official visits, so I need to make sure which ones I really want to see."

Included in Crim's list of schools who are being considered for a trip are Louisville, Mississippi, Iowa State, Kansas and South Florida.

Crim had hoped to sign with a school in December, but he said he'll most likely sign in February and he'll enroll in either spring or summer with three years to play two wherever he ends up.
