Three visits set for COS pass-rusher

A pass-rusher who can consistently get to the quarterback is they key to any defense and College of the Sequoias DE Delano Johnson (6-5, 265) has become a top target for several BCS schools. caught up with Johnson recently and he updated us on recruiting and which three schools he will be visiting in the coming weeks...

Johnson had a solid season for the Giants this year, posting eight sacks and 50 tackles for a team that finished 5-5.

Now that he can focus on recruiting he's set up three visits and is talking to several other schools about possible official trips.

"I'm visiting Minnesota this coming weekend (Dec. 11th) and I'll check out Iowa State on January 24th and Kansas State on January 17th," Johnson told "A lot of other schools have been talking to me about visiting, but Nevada wanted me to visit this weekend, so I will probably set something up with them soon and Boise State, Arizona State, Oregon State and UTEP all want me to visit, so I have some decisions to make."

Johnson is still on pace to graduate in May and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
