Big decision looms for Deleone

It has been a couple of hectic weeks for Orange Coast DE Dean Deleone (6-3, 245). He's taken two official visits to Pac 10 schools the past two weekends and with the mid-year signing day approaching this Wednesday he said he's got a lot of thinking to do over the next 24 to 48 hours. Where will he end up? It's anyone's guess at this point...

"I had a lot of fun," Deleone told JCFootball.com shortly after he returned from his visit to Arizona State. "The coaches up there were great, the school was great, the players were great, it was just a great time."

With that kind of a report, it would seem the Sun Devils have the inside track at getting Deleone's signature on Wednesday, but he said that isn't necessarily the case.

"Oregon was a lot of fun too and I could see myself ending up there," Deleone said. "I've got a really tough decision to make because both schools were great situations and both are great programs."

Deleone managed to post 78 tackles, 9.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles-for-loss during his outstanding sophomore season for Orange Coast.

Wherever Deleone ends up, he'll have three years to play two the moment he steps on campus in January.
