Coffeyville: Who's signed, who's left?

Coffeyville had a tough season, going 3-6 and finishing fifth in the KJCCC, but that doesn't mean they didn't have a plethora of talent. Several Ravens have already signed D-1 scholarships or have committed. Read on to see who ended up where and who else is available.

S Jacky Candy - Candy signed to Houston after entertaining offers from Akron, Colorado State, Memphis and UAB among others. Candy posted 76 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, three forced fumbles and two interceptions while earning All-KJCCC honors.

OL James Carpenter - Signed with Alabama over offers from schools like Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and Texas Tech. Carpenter's size and feet make him an ideal strong tackle, but he could move inside if necessary.

DT Mark Crawford - Signed with Kentucky, but could have gone almost anywhere in the country. Stud interior defensive lineman missed some time this season due to a knee injury, but still managed to post 41 tackles and 6.5 sacks.

OL Jarve Dean - Has already signed with Houston over offers from schools like Memphis and UAB. Dean is a huge man, measuring in at 6-3, 330 and will be an ideal guard for the Cougars.

DE Rae Sykes - Tennessee commit who signed with the Volunteers out of high school before attending Coffeyville. Re-signed with the Vols.

DT Tyrell Gaddies - Signed with Louisiana-Lafayette. Posted 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2008. Will graduate in May.

WR Andrew Joseph - Signed with Louisiana-Lafayette. Posted 35 receptions for 597 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Ravens this past season.

DE Derrick Slaughter - Inked with UAB over offers from Memphis and Baylor among others. Led the Ravens with 78 tackles and finished second on the team with 5.5 sacks. RB Kenneth Armstrong - Signed with Delta State. Finished with 305 yards and four touchdowns and caught 14 passes for 131 yards.

QB Nick Hardesty - Signed with Henderson State. Threw for over 1,500 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions. Also rushed for 171 yards and eight more scores.

WR Landon Murrell - Signed with Henderson State. Had seven receptions for 33 yards in 2008.

DE Matt  Nelson - Freshman who signed with Missouri Science & Technology University. Posted six tackles in a reserve role for the Ravens.

TE Tell Wyrick - Signed with Pittsburgh State. Known more for his blocking, Wyrick still managed to post six receptions for 43 yards as a sophomore in 2008.
