Muheize may be headed to the Sunshine State

He had two excellent seasons for one of the more prestigious JC programs in California, but Grossmont S Abraham Muheize (5-11, 205) is still waiting on his first offer. This weekend he will head to the Sunshine State to visit a D-1AA program and he's hoping he'll get an offer while he's on campus...

"I'm still waiting," Muheize told JCFootball.com. "Not a lot has been going on, but I am visiting Florida A&M this weekend and they said they will probably offer me on the visit."

Muheize is a multi-talented safety prospect who amassed over 70 tackles and five interceptions for a team that plays in one of the more competitive leagues in the state of California.

"I can play free or strong safety, it doesn't really matter to me," Muheize said. "I like playing centerfield out there and directing guys around and sometimes I would come up and cover the slot, so I feel I can do whatever a team needs me to do."

Muheize already has his AA degree so he can sign with a school next Wednesday (February 4th) and then arrive on campus as soon as possible.

Wherever he ends up he'll have three years to play two once he steps on campus.
