One offer already in the books for Robinson

After an outstanding freshman season, Ellsworth WR Quintin Robinson (6-3, 193) has already been garnering plenty of attention from four-year programs. Recently the talented wideout hauled in an offer from a Mountain West school and he could be close to more offers in the very near future...

"I got an offer from Wyoming about two weeks ago," Robinson told recently. "Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Iowa State, LSU and Arizona State have all been on me pretty hard too, but they haven't offered yet.

"Committing runs through your head when you get that first offer because you're so relieved to get it that you want to jump on it, but I talked with my coaches and my family and we decided to wait.

"With the new coaches there and them running such a great offense at Missouri before they got hired at Wyoming, they are tempting, definitely."

As a freshman in 2008, Robinson combined with QB Tirrell Rennie to post 97 receptions for 1,223 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning him All-American honors as well as All-Conference recognition.

"We had a good season and I think it will be even better this year," Robinson said. "I'm running consistent 4.47's in the forty and I'm getting stronger all the time.

"Last year I used my speed and athleticism, but this year I'm really focused on getting more precise running my routes and reading defenses better so that should help me a lot."

In the classroom, Robinson has been very hard at work and he said he's close to being able to sign in December and he will have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
