More offers pour in for Cullen

This have continued to hum along for Fullerton OT John Cullen (6-6, 285). He's received a lot of early recruiting attention from schools across the country and more than a few have already extended offers. Here's the latest on what's happening with one of the top JUCO linemen in the country...

"I already had offers from Louisville and Auburn and I got four more over the last month or so," Cullen told JCFootball.com. "Utah, Tennessee, Hawaii and South Florida are the new ones for me and I'm getting a lot of interest from some Pac 10 schools and some other programs as well."

The main Pac 10 schools looking his way are UCLA and Arizona State along with Oregon State and Arizona.

"I'm still looking to take all of my visits and just make sure I'm making the right decision," Cullen said. "I really don't want to commit and then think about it after that. I want to commit and then be done with it."

Cullen holds down the left side of the Fullerton offensive line, starting every game for the Hornets as a freshman in 2008.

"I take a lot of pride in protecting the quarterback," Cullen said back in April. "I know my job is important and because I was so used to pass-blocking in high school I was a lot better at that when I got here than I was at run-blocking, but I've really improved that a lot more because of my strength.

"I learned good technique in high school because I was a little bit smaller so that's the only way I could be successful, but then when I got to Fullerton I got a lot bigger and that has helped me with my drive-blocking and being a little bit more physical."

Cullen will be done with his two-year degree in December and wherever he ends up he'll have three years to play two once he steps on campus.
