Another Pac 10 offer for Vaughn

San Mateo WR Rahsaan Vaugh (6-0, 190) can do it all on the football field and he's been hauling in offers from across the country. Last week, the talented wideout picked up his second Pac 10 offer and he said, while that got him thinking about things, he's going to let the process play itself out before he makes a decision…

"Oregon offered me last week," Vaughn told JCFootball.com. "Their DB coach was down here and he watched me practice during spring football and we talked on the phone and he said they really liked me and were offering me.

"He said he wants to see my spring quarter transcripts and once he gets those then they'll send out the official offer. My coaches are going to mail them out this week I think, so I should have the official offer in the mail pretty soon."

In addition to his offer from the Ducks, Vaughn also has offers from Arizona, Arkansas State and Utah and he said Hawaii has been coming on strong as well.

"It got me thinking about things, but I want to take my time," Vaughn admitted. "I want to take some visits and see the schools and then I can decide."

As a freshman last season, Vaughn used his soft hands and his elite speed to put up solid numbers -- 17 receptions for 238 yards and three touchdowns -- in eight games.

"I can do it all at receiver," Vaughn said. "If you need me to go outside, I can do that. I have 4.37 speed so I can get down the field, but last year was really the first time I was a 'down the field' receiver.

"Usually, I was the guy who ran the intermediate routes and made plays with the ball in my hands."

Vaughn said he plans to take a full load of credits in the summer and fall in order to be a mid-year signee, but said if that doesn't work out he's on pace to get his AA degree in May of 2011 and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
