Bullock shows patience in the process

Being compared to a runner like Oregon State's Jacquizz Rodgers is high praise indeed, but Arizona Western RB Reggie Bullock (5-9, 175) is taking nothing for granted. The talented back has been hard at work this summer getting ready for the 2010 season after rushing for 1,500 yards and 22 touchdowns as a freshman in 2009...

"I'm back home (in Las Vegas) and I'm working out and running almost every day," Bullock told JCFootball.com. "I usually run at my old high school in the afternoon so it isn't quite as hot, but I'm pretty much used to it."

Bullock is shifty, but possesses 4.4 speed so he likes to break things outside when he gets the chance.

"I like to make big plays for my team," Bullock said. "If it helps us for me to run it inside and get the tough yards, then I'll do that, but getting outside is what I do best."

Several schools including Oregon State have been recruiting Bullock and the Beavers let him know he reminds them of their All-American back.

"(Oregon State) said I run a lot like Jacquizz Rodgers," Bullock said humbly. "They said they like my speed and my vision and that they think I could do a lot of things like he's done there."

In addition to Oregon State, Bullock is hearing from schools like Illinois, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Alabama, Kansas State, Wisconsin and San Diego State and has offers from Utah State and North Texas.

"So far those are the only two and since I haven't been at school, I don't know if any more have come in for me yet," Bullock said. "A lot of the schools I've talked with have told me they like me and are going to offer, but they hadn't by the time I left, so really I don't know where things stand with them right now."

The talented runner has been hard at work getting his academics in order and will be able to sign with a school in December and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
