The 66ers fell off slightly from their start, going 12-15 in May. With the positives, came the negatives, like a five-game win-streak be followed with a five-game losing streak. The 66ers fell victim to a harsh schedule for their pitching staff, spending some time in parks known for their offensive production.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Eric Aguilera, First Baseman

Aguilera went 3-for-20 in the first five games of May, and then took off with a 23-game on-base streak 12-game hit-streak that is still going into June. Aguilera finished May with 30 RBI in 27 games, helped by a .319/.360/.500 slash, six doubles and five home runs. Aguilera's current on-base streak is at 25, and hit-streak is at 14.

PITCHER OF THE MONTH: Trevor Foss, Right-Handed Reliever

Foss has become a long-relief man for the 66ers, and has helped keep them in games for the entire season, but primarily in May. Foss saw a 1.93 ERA over his 14 innings pitched in May. Foss' WHIP jumped with a seven-hit night where he allowed one run in three innings, but putting that game aside, he saw only 11 base runners in 11.1 innings pitched.
