A's go to 20 over and are the best team in baseball. Let's see what kind of mainstream coverage they get. And after we see how little, we can conclude that this is the sports version of what's exactly wrong with capitalism. The outlets only cover the teams that get the most clicks. More clicks = more money. Instead of covering reality and the most exciting story, the mainstream sports media covers money. Just like our news media and most other mediums of learning and culture. Yet we continue to collectively wonder why we're all idiots. The second we have any kind of press, culture and centers of learning that are focused on reality and not making dollars is the second the public will be empowered. sleepingcobra out. <drops the mic>
Overall, I dont disagree. But in fairness I have a hard time getting on a reliever in his 3rd inning of work. What did he give up? A broken bat flare. A FC that could have been a double play. A dribbler against the shift that would be an out in a normal defense. And then a walk when he was on fumes. I'm all for sending him out based on overall performace, but I'm not gonna bag on him today just because his name is Jim Johnson. He did a great job, saved our ass and got a win. I tip my hat gladly.
