Scouting Report

This is a strong year for prep catching prospects and Goldstein is a big part of that crop. Goldstein has a strong, durable frame that fits the catching profile well. He hits loud line drives at the plate and is the owner of a short, quick swing. He's still learning to lift the ball but he flashes plus raw power in batting practice. Goldstein also shows the arm strength and agility that will keep him behind the plate in the pros.
