A's, Royals Announce Wild Card Rosters

The American League Wild Card rosters have been announced, and, as expected, they are heavy on position players.

A one-game series lends itself to some interesting roster construction, and both of the American League’s Wild Card teams have put together unusual looks for their Wild Card rosters. The Oakland A’s and the Kansas City Royals announced their rosters for Tuesday night’s game this morning. Both teams will be carrying mostly position players with no need to carry more than one starting pitcher.
