Notes: Renato Nunez's triple in the bottom of the 11th scored Max Muncy from first for a walk-off win. The Sounds were leading 1-0 in the top of the ninth when rehabbing Dodgers' catcher Yasmani Grandal homered to lead-off the ninth against Angel Castro. Jesse Hahn was sharp in his season debut, throwing only 74 pitches in 6 shutout innings. He hit 97 on the radar gun. Patrick Schuster worked two perfect innings and continues to impress after a strong spring. Matt Olson two doubles were his first two hits of the season. Matt McBride got the start at catcher.

Midland batters struck-out 12 times against the Arkansas staff, led by starter Victor Alcantara.

Notes: The game was delayed once by a lighting issue (a bank of lights went out) and was cancelled early due to snow. It was 37 degrees at first pitch. The Snappers scored seven runs in the fourth inning, aided by four Timber Rattlers' errors. Boomer Biegalski threw 70 pitches in his first start of the season. He allowed a homer to Isan Diaz in the third. Diaz had two hits and a walk in the game. Xavier Altamarino was scheduled to go multiple innings, but his outing was cut-short by the snow. The Snappers are now 2-0. They didn't win their second game until the 10th game of the season last year.
