Chad Pinder, Patrick Schuster PCL All-Stars

The Nashville Sounds will have two representatives in the upcoming Triple-A All-Star game.

Nashville Sounds' shortstop Chad Pinder and reliever Patrick Schuster were named to the PCL squad for the upcoming Triple-A All-Star game, the league announced on Thursday. Pinder and Schuster are both reserves on the PCL team. The game will take place on July 13 and will be televised on MLB Network.

Pinder is batting .266/.310/.436 with nine homers in 71 games for the Sounds this season. He is fourth on the team in games played and leads the team in OPS among players who have appeared in at least two-thirds of the Sounds' games. Pinder is also second on the team in homers and RBI. He was the Texas League's MVP last season.

Schuster signed with the A's during the off-season as a minor league free agent. He has a 1.36 ERA and 36 strike-outs in 33 innings this year. The left-hander is tied for the team lead in saves with five. He is holding left-handed batters to a .185 average. This is Schuster's first mid-season All-Star nod. Pinder was a Texas League mid-season All-Star last year.
