The Oakland A's signed their fourth international free agent from Cuba since July 2nd, announcing the addition of right-hander Luis Miguel Romero and centerfielder Enry Pantojas.

The Oakland A's announced the signing of two more international amateur free agents on Wednesday: right-hander Luis Miguel Romero and centerfielder Enry Pantojas. Both are from Cuba.

Romero, a 22-year-old pitcher, has four years of experience in the Cuban National Series. Romero last pitched in the CNS in 2015, when he had a 3.31 ERA and a 23:16 K:BB in 35.1 innings. He served as a closer that season and saved eight games. He has been working out in the Dominican Republic while waiting to sign with a major-league organization. Below is video of him from YouTube pitching at the St. Louis Cardinals' Dominican complex.

Pantojas is a 20-year-old outfielder who appeared in 19 games in the CNS as an 18-year-old in 2015. He hit .304 with a .429 OBP.

Romero and Pantojas join Lazaro Armenteros and Norge Ruiz as Cuban-born free agents the A's have signed since July 2, 2016.
