The Stockton Ports Baseball Club is seeking groups and individuals to perform the National Anthem at the start of home games throughout the 2005 season at their new stadium, Banner Island Ballpark. The Ports will be celebrating their first season in Banner Island Ballpark and as an affiliate of the Oakland A's.
The season runs from April 28 through September 4 and the Ports currently have a number of dates available for interested singers to fill. The Ports are looking for vocal and instrumental solos, ensembles and groups. Performers will have a chance to perform in front of a full house for most of the Ports games this season, as pre-season ticket sales have been brisk.
If you are interested in trying out for a National Anthem slot, send an audition tape or CD to Stockton Ports Baseball Club, P.O. Box 8365, Stockton, CA 95208. Tapes and CDs must be labeled with the performer's name and telephone number and will be judged by Stockton Ports executives. Audition materials will not be returned.
