After beginning the season zero for his first 15 at-bats, third baseman Jeff Baisley has awaken at the plate and has helped lead the Cougars offensive attack. Baisley leads the team with four homers and is tied for the team lead with 15 RBI. He is also third on the team in walks with seven.

Baisley had six homers in 61 games for Vancouver last season after being drafted in the 12th round of the 2005 draft out of South Florida. Baisley played at South Florida with his twin brother and is following in the footsteps of an older brother who was a minor league pitcher. Keith Glab caught up with Baisley during the Cougars recent homestand.
