Lenny DiNardo got the start, his first since being sent down to Triple-A from the big leagues. He allowed only three hits and no walks in six innings of shut-out baseball.
Joe Gaetti, just promoted from Double-A Midland, homered in his first at-bat as a River Cat. He went 3-4 with seven total bases and two RBIs in his debut.
Tyler Lumsden got the start for Omaha. He allowed four runs in six innings and was stuck with the loss.
Nick Blasi makes contact on a single in the second inning. He went 3-4 with a run scored and brought his average up to .225.
Former Oakland A's top prospect Angel Berroa was at second for Omaha.
Danny Putnam unsuccessfully dives for a ball in the first inning that went for a double. He would later make a nice diving catch.
Landon Powell hits a ground-out. He would later homer, his fourth of the season.
