Oakland A's MLN: Spring Rosters

One of the biggest mysteries heading into any minor league season is where each minor league player will begin the year. Although rosters are constantly changing, it is always educational to see what level players are playing at during spring training when trying to guess where they will start the season. Kyla Hill reports from the A's minor league camp with the rosters from this weekend's games.

Three weeks into this year's spring training, the Oakland A's have yet to make any major changes within their minor league system. A small wave of activity came today when the A's announced the trade of infielder Gregorio Petit to the Texas Rangers for right-handed reliever Edwar Ramirez. Petit has spent the past two seasons shuffling back and forth from Triple-A to Oakland and was most recently on of the nine players reassigned to the minors on Sunday.

Over at Papago Field, the Oakland A's minor league spring training has begun in earnest. The minor leaguers in camp have been divided into four teams representing the A's four full-season affiliates for the minor league spring training game schedule. Take a look at the minor league roster to see where your favorite player is playing at this point in the spring.

If you are headed to Papago Field to check out a home game or planning on taking a road trip to support the team, don't forget to review the club's schedule, which can be found here.
