A New No. 1

Martez Ivey, a 6-foot-5, 281-pound offensive tackle from Apopka (Fla.) Senior High is the nation's new No. 1 prospect.

The five-star prospect has his pick of schools and already has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Tennessee.

"Multiple things stand out," Southeast Regional Manager Chad Simmons said as he began to break down Ivey's game. "The way he moves, the way he bends, and his length stand out more than anything.

You look at him as a potential Sunday player if he continues to develop. He has the long arms and the athleticism that makes him a prospect who could be an elite player on the college level and hopefully in the NFL one day."

Region by Region

The Southeast leads with 108 players rated in the Scout300. Mitch Hyatt, a 6-foot-6, 272-pound offensive tackle from Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett checks in as the No. 2 prospect regionally behind Ivey.
