Rick Oliver: InsideTheDome: Did you have contact with Toronto regarding Brett prior to the draft?
Rick Oliver:: Yes we did. It was a little bit of a surprise to me because Toronto was not one of the teams I would've guessed was going to sign Brett.
InsideTheDome: So they weren't as aggressive as other teams?
Rick Oliver:: Yes, but he was sought after, and wanted by a lot of different teams.
InsideTheDome: Signability is always an issue during the draft. What were teams looking for in regards to that with Brett?
Rick Oliver:: They wanted to find out if he was going to be signable or would he go back to Maryland for his fifth year. Brett decided it was his time, and he was ready to go do it.
InsideTheDome: So does Brett plan to accept the offer?
Rick Oliver:: I don't know, we don't have it. The teams really haven't done what they need to do.
