Manager Bobby Cox has penciled in Paul Byrd to start on Apr. 10. Byrd, who is recovering from elbow tendinitis, pitched 3 1/3 innings in a minor league game yesterday, and will make one more rehab start Friday or Saturday. In his last rehab start AA Greenville he allowed six runs -- four earned -- in 4 1/3 innings.
Mike Hampton plans to throw off the mound today, and had a sucessful throwing session on Saturday. He is not eligible to come off the Disabled List until next Saturday - however no official date has been set for his return.
