Edward Salcedo is among the Braves prospects playing in the Arizona Fall League.

Here is a check with the Braves prospects playing for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League.

Kyle Wren is struggling so far. The son of the former general manager Frank Wren is hitting only .136 in 22 at bats. He has only three hits, one double and has yet to steal a base. Wren also has seven strikeouts and two walks in his limited playing time.

Edward Salcedo is playing right field and has hit .233 so far in 60 at bats. Salcedo has three RBI and four doubles. The Braves are hoping to see progress from Salcedo at the plate, but it hasn’t happened so far in two weeks of action.

Daniel Castro has played in 11 games and is hitting .231 with three runs batted in. He’s played mainly shortstop and has one double and one stolen base.

Aaron Northcraft has made four starts on the mound and is 1-3 with an earned run average of 3.14. Northcraft has allowed five earned runs on 13 hits in 14.1 innings, with seven walks and eight strikeouts.

Ryne Harper has a 2-0 record and a 5.87 ERA in six games pitched out of the bullpen. Harper has allowed five earned runs on eight hits in 7.2 innings, with one walk and 10 strikeouts.

Nate Hyatt has a 1.50 ERA in his six games on the mound. Hyatt has given up just one run on two hits in six innings, with four walks and seven punch outs.

Brandon Cunniff has pitched in six games as well and has a 3.12 ERA. He’s given up three earned runs on 11 hits in 8.2 innings of work, with two walks and seven strikeouts.

The Arizona Fall League runs through Saturday, November 15.
