Braves win three in a row from Phily

Julio Teheran continued his good second-half work with the win over the Phillies.

Atlanta took three games from Philadelphia over the weekend at Turner Field. All three games were won by a 2-1 record.

While he did not get a win, Julio Teheran pitched yet another solid game. He allowed just one run on five hits in 8.1 innings, with one walk and eight strikeouts.

Teheran now has a 4.20 ERA in his 31 starts this season. He's allowed 178 hits in 188.2 innings, with 68 walks and 162 strikeouts.

Since the All-Star Break, in 13 games started, Teheran has allowed 33 earned runs on 69 hits in 80 innings, with a 3.71 ERA.

The three-game winning streak is the first time the Braves have won three in a row since August 6-8 against the Marlins.

The Braves are 60-90 (.400).
