Saltalamacchia chats tonight on BravesCenter

Braves' top prospect Jarrod Saltalamacchia will chat tonight with BravesCenter's premium subscribers.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, the Braves' top prospect, will chat with's premium subscribers tonight during the 7:00 o'clock hour in the chat room.

Saltalamacchia will talk about his 2005 season in Myrtle Beach, his time in the Arizona Fall League, his future, and other subjects during the chat.

'Salty Dog' had a fantastic 2005 season in Myrtle Beach, as he hit .314 with 19 home runs and 81 RBI in 459 at bats, along with a .394 on base percentage.

Then in the Arizona Fall League, Saltalamacchia hit .288 with 1 home run and 8 RBI in 73 at bats. He then played for USA Baseball in the Olympic Qualifying tournament in Arizona.

The 20-year-old switch-hitting catcher was drafted by the Braves in the supplemental first round of the 2003 draft.
