Devine & Schuerholz to chat Tuesday night

Braves' reliever Joey Devine and Jonathan Schuerholz, who was invited to big league camp as a non-roster player, will chat with Premium Subscribers on Tuesday. Bill Shanks has the information.

Braves' reliever Joey Devine, who made the Atlanta postseason roster only months after being drafted in the first round last year, will join minor league infielder Jonathan Schuerholz in the BravesCenter chat room Tuesday night.

Devine spent only two months in the minors before being called up to the Braves in mid-August. He was injured in his first appearance and had to miss six weeks. The former N.C. State star returned the last week of the regular season and impressed Bobby Cox enough to where he was placed on the postseason roster.

Last week the Braves invited Schuerholz to big league camp this spring as a non-roster player. He split the 2005 season between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Richmond. He'll battle Pete Orr for the reserve spot on the Atlanta roster this spring, but chances are he'll head back to Richmond to start the season.

Schuerholz will be in the chatroom around 7:15 pm, while Devine will join the premium subscribers after 8:00 pm.
