The Braves 400 Club, official fan club of the Braves, will hold its 40th annual winter banquet, the Eddie Glennon Gameboree, on Saturday, February 11, 2006, at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center Hotel, 2000 Century Boulevard, off Clairmont Road at I-85.
You do not have to be a Braves 400 Club member to attend this spectacular night honoring the Braves' Georgia grown players.
This magical evening will begin with a silent auction at 6:00 pm featuring unique Braves and sports memorabilia. Dinner will follow upon closing of the silent auction at 7:00 pm. Raffle tickets will be available for a large variety of baseball-themed prizes to be awarded after dinner.
Braves announcer Pete Van Wieren will emcee the program during which the Braves and the 400 Club will present awards honoring players at all levels for the 2005 season. Two local colleges will receive Phil Niekro Scholarship awards, and the Club will announce the winners of the Luke Appling Nostalgia Award and the prestigious Ivan Allen Mr. Baseball Award.
To reserve your space, mail a check for $60 per seat/ $600 per table. 2005. Please include your mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. Tickets may be picked up at the Will Call desk in the banquet area of the Marriott on February 11 and will not be mailed in advance. The Braves 400 Club is a 501(c)3 organization, and the Silent Auction benefits the Phil Niekro Scholarship Fund. All banquet attendees receive a quality souvenir program, and advertising in the program is the Club's main fundraiser for the year.
