Minor League Preview - Friday April 14

BravesCenter's Bill Shanks takes a look at Friday's schedule around the Braves' farm system.

The Richmond Braves have their first road game this afternoon as they take on the Rochester Red Wings starting at 3:05.

Lefty Damian Moss will pitch for the Braves for the second time this year. Moss had a nice debut for Richmond last Sunday (five scoreless innings, eight strikeouts).

Richmond is now 3-5 on the season after losing its last two games.

Mississippi plays game four of its five game set with Mobile tonight starting at 8:05 pm ET at Trustmark Park.

Lefty Chris Waters will pitch for the Braves, who have lost two in a row as well and are now 3-5 on the season.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans return home tonight to start a three-game weekend series with Potomac. Game time at Coastal Federal Field is 7:02 pm.

Right-hander Luis Atilano will try to bounce back after a rough 2006 debut with his second start of the season. The Pelicans have lost five in a row, so they are in need of a solid pitching performance.

After winning their first five, the Rome Braves have lost two in a row. They'll close out their series in Savannah tonight at 7:05 at Grayson Stadium.

Left-hander Jo Jo Reyes will pitch for the Braves, who are now 5-2 on the season.
