Bill Shanks takes a look at Sunday's schedule around the Braves' farm system.


Richmond tries to snap a four-game losing streak Sunday afternoon when they play game three of their series with Rochester starting at 1:35.

Lefty Brian O'Connor will go for the Braves against Red Wings' right-hander Boof Bonser. O'Connor will be making his second start of the season. He allowed two runs in five innings in his first starting assignment.

The Braves are now 3-7 on the season.


Mississippi is off on Sunday. They will travel north to West Tennessee where they will start a five-game, four-day series on Monday.

The 5-5 Braves will send Sean White to the mound on Monday. They'll play a doubleheader with West Tenn on Tuesday.


Myrtle Beach goes for the three-game sweep over Potomac Sunday afternoon when the two teams wrap up the series starting at 5:02 pm.

Lefty Jake Stevens, who has struggled in his first two starts, will take on fellow southpaw Mike Hinckley on Sunday.

The Pelicans are now 4-6 on the season.


Rome will try to continue its dominance over the defending Sally League Champion Kannapolis Intimidators Sunday afternoon in game two of the season. First pitch is at 5:05.

The Braves will send Tyler Bullock and Jeff Lyman to the mound Sunday. The two right-handers combined for eight innings of solid baseball last week in their 2006 debuts. Bullock allowed only one run on two hits in five innings, while Lyman pitched three scoreless innings.

Rome is 7-2 on the season.
