The Richmond Braves are in dire need of a win. They have lost five in a row and close out the final game of a four-game series in Rochester tonight at 6:35.
Brian O'Connor will pitch for the Braves against Dennys Reyes for the Red Wings. Richmond also added another reliever to its staff as Phil Stockman joined the club today from Mississippi. Joey Devine was placed on the Danville roster as the Braves figure out how series his back injury is at this point.
The Braves are now 3-8 on the season, four and a half games back of Durham in the International League's South Division. Richmond heads to Buffalo for a series starting Tuesday.

The Pelicans are 4-7 on the season, 4.5 games back of Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.
The Rome Braves just keep rolling along. They go for their fourth straight victory tonight when they play game three of their series at Kannapolis.
Chris Vines will pitch for the third time this season. The right-hander has an 0-1 record with a 5.73 ERA in his eleven innings of work so far this year.
Rome remains in first place in the Sally League's Southern Division with a record of 8-2 on the season.
