Myrtle Beach goes for its seventh win in a row tonight as they host Lynchburg starting at 7:02 at Coastal Federal Field.
It will be a battle of lefties as Matt Harrison (2-1, 2.66) goes for the Pelicans against Hillcats' southpaw Kyle Bloom (1-0, 0.00).
With the winning streak, the Pelicans are now 13-9 on the season, two games back of Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.
Rome's five-game winning streak is still intact after Friday's game with Augusta was suspended due to a power failure. They'll resume the game, which was tied at one in the fourth inning, tonight starting at 5:00 at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
Since Jeff Lyman got his three innings in Friday night, the other half of the piggyback, Tyler Bullock, will pitch in one of the games. Chris Vines is expected to also get a start, as the nightcap will follow.
