Minor League Report - April 18

The Braves Show's Bill Shanks has today's minor league schedule around the Braves' farm system.


Richmond hosts Louisville tonight at 7:00 pm ET at the Diamond. Trey Hodges will get his second start of the season. He did not give up an earned run in his season debut last week. Hodges will face Phil Dumatrait, who is 2-0 this year with a 0.71 ERA.

The Braves have won three in a row and are 6-2 on the season and in first place in the International League's South Division.


Mississippi continues its series at West Tenn tonight with Francisley Bueno making his first start of the season. Bueno was 1-7 last year with a 3.59 ERA. He'll oppose Robert Rohrbaugh (1-1, 6.52 ERA) for the Diamond Jaxx.

The Braves have won three in a row and are now 9-3 and in second place, one game back of Birmingham in the Southern League's South Division.


The Pelicans will face Winston-Salem tonight at 7:05 at Coastal Federal Field with Dustin Evans on the hill. Evans has no record and a 0.90 ERA on in his first two starts. Kyle McCulloch will pitch for the Warthogs.

Myrtle Beach is 7-5 on the season and in first place, a half game up on Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.


Rome will go for its third win of the season tonight in Asheville with Deunte Heath getting the start. He's got a 1.13 ERA in his first two appearances this season. Aneury Rodriguez pitches for the Tourists.

The Braves continue to struggle with a 2-11 record so far this season.
