Minor League Thread - May 14

Here's today's schedule around the Braves' farm system.

The Braves go for their fourth victory in a row and a sweep when they finish the series in Durham Monday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Macay McBride (1-1, 3.00) will make his fifth start (seventh game) of the year for the Braves against Andy Sonnanstine (4-2, 2.17). Richmond's lead over Durham in the International League's South Division is now at an amazing 9.5 games. The Braves return home Tuesday night to start a ten-game homestand.

It's game three of the five-game series in Birmingham for the first place Mississippi Braves. Francisley Bueno (1-2, 4.58), who had a great performance in his last start, is scheduled to pitch for the Braves, who maintain a four game lead on the Jacksonville Suns in the Southern League's South Division.

The Pelicans start a six-game road trip tonight starting at Potomac at 7:35. Moises Hernandez (4-2, 2.59) will be on the hill for Myrtle Beach, who is 16-20 on the year after losing two games in a row. The Pelicans are 4.5 games out of first place in the Carolina League's Southern Division.

The Braves have game three of the four-game series in Columbus against the Catfish. Tim Gustafson (1-2, 3.67) is scheduled to go for the Braves, who have now lost three in a row and are 10-26 on the season.
