Minor League Preview - May 20

Here is today's minor league schedule in the Braves' farm system.


The Braves send right-hander Jonathan Johnson (1-2, 5.09) to the hill today at 2:00 pm in game two of the four-game series against Scranton Wilkes-Barre. Lefty Sean Henn (0-1, 9.00) pitches for the Yankees. Richmond is 27-12 on the season and now has a ten game lead on Durham in the International League's South Division.


Lefty Dan Smith (4-2, 1.97) tries to continue his solid season when he pitches this afternoon at 2:05 pm ET in game four of the five-game set against Tennessee. The Braves are 29-14 on the season, five games up on the Jacksonville Suns in the Southern League's South Division.


The Pelicans will enjoy Sunday afternoon off. They start a three-game series Monday night when they host Winston-Salem at Coastal Federal Field. Myrtle Beach is 19-23 on the season, seven games back of Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.


The Braves are idle Sunday and will start a four-game series at home against the Savannah Sand Gnats Monday evening. Rome has lost two in a row and is now 12-30 on the season, 17.5 games back of Asheville in the Southern Division of the Sally League.
