Here's today's schedule around the Braves' farm system.


Richmond is off today. They remain seven games up on the Durham Bulls in the International League's South Division. The Braves are 27-15 on the season and will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they start a two-game series at Norfolk Thursday night.


Lance Cormier will get another rehab start for Mississippi today as the Braves start a five-game series at home against Montgomery. Chris Seddon (3-2, 4.50) will pitch for the Biscuits. Mississippi is 29-16 on the season, four games up on the Jacksonville Suns in the Southern League's South Division. The Braves have lost three in a row.


The Pelicans are playing a day game with the Winston-Salem Warthogs at Coastal Federal Field. Jonny Venters (0-0, 3.44) got the start for Myrtle Beach against Ryan Rodriguez (2-2, 3.11). The Pelicans started the day losers of two in a row and with a 19-25 record on the season.


Rome has won two in a row and takes on Savannah in a day game at State Mutual Stadium. Jamie Richmond (1-3, 2.80) goes for the Braves, who are 15-30 on the season.
