The Pelicans are playing a day game with the Winston-Salem Warthogs at Coastal Federal Field. Jonny Venters (0-0, 3.44) got the start for Myrtle Beach against Ryan Rodriguez (2-2, 3.11). The Pelicans started the day losers of two in a row and with a 19-25 record on the season.
Rome has won two in a row and takes on Savannah in a day game at State Mutual Stadium. Jamie Richmond (1-3, 2.80) goes for the Braves, who are 15-30 on the season.
